Today’s world requires graduates with specific skills, tools and methodologies to navigate the complexities of the information age. The Cape Town Creative Academy offers four acclaimed and accredited degrees that provide the competencies needed to thrive in the fast-changing contemporary creative landscape. Our small classes offer specialised attention to support and develop each student’s talents and interests. All our degrees share an important foundation semester, which exposes students to different areas of study before they specialise in either Communication Design, Contemporary Art, Interaction Design, or Motion Design. Industry relevance is of high priority. Our programmes are designed with consultation and input from the South African creative industry, and final-year students complete an internship or apprenticeship to provide them with invaluable real-world experience as they embark on their careers.

OUR UNIQUE EDUCATIONAL MODEL
Our unique educational approach merges five key frameworks: the academic rigour typically associated with traditional universities, the creative individuality promoted by art schools, the technical proficiency typical to technical training colleges, an aptitude for entrepreneurial thinking common to business schools, and real-world preparation through internships. This diverse model ensures our graduates are both creatively adept and job-ready. Blending critical thinking, aesthetic sensitivity, technological skills, strategic planning, and hands-on experience provides the highest proficiency, professionalism and employability.
